An ounce of luck please

Well, am about to sit down to watch the AB's take on the Irish at the burnt out Lansdowne Road, on FREE-TO-AIR BBC1. Now that's what I call a government, protecting the viewers rights by protecting only a slect few sporting events (such as Wimbledon, rugby, football internationals).

Last night was an interesting exercise. Went down to the Windmill Inn at lunchtime and had three pints (poor form I know) and then went back to "work". Meanwhile had spotted a lovely young lass from Swansea serving at the bar. Laura. I wasn't sure about going back to the Windmill on my own after work (no-one wanted to come with) but I went anyway. Damn straight too. I proceeded to get to know this gorgeous creature whose currently finishing her MA in modern film (not only beautiful, but able to hold her end of a conversation up) for the next few hours. Bit like that Streets song, she was playing wif her hair, and I thought i was probably in, like.

Alas, she has a 45 yr old boyfriend in Ipswich. She's like 25 or summint. She's a keen mountainbiker (more like flat hills), so there may be hope for me yet brother mine.

Nevertheless, I am quite stoked that I had the balls to do that on my own. Hey this time it didn't work out, I may have met a friend though so I'm willing to tolerate...In terms of sheer numbers, Beverley has a handful of women of suitable genetics. Just my luck that most of them are 'reservado' as they say in Spain. Beverley from Beverley also appears to have a fella. I'm doing my best.
