I'm leaving today...I've got to be a part of it...NEW YORK! NEW YORK! Well I hope you've all seen the big freeze happening in New york and are all sufficiently jealous of me! BIG FREEZE Makes a change from old York I suppose, or old Amsterdam.
Chillin' out at an internet cafe in Hackney at the mo, waiting til around 3pm where i'll be getting my way down to Heathrow Terminal 3 for the long haul adventure. I think the flight is about 8 hours? I'm going with Ellie and her flattie Hannah, and we are meeting Ellie's other flattie Fran over there who is dancing in a a show - some sort of modern, contemporary dancing? Apparently she was in a a recent Madge video. So just got me travel insurance, in case we get stuck...or come across some anthrax.
Meanwhile I had a dream that the 'Canes would have a big win this weekend against the Force so as I'm writing this i'm also on the TAB website checking out the odds. However, i'm sure it was the Sharks they were playing in my dream, and the score was 91-7. Damn, I see the 'Canes have come in to second fave now to win the thing! A missed betting opportunity...or a classic Wellington mistake...
