Winter aint over yet!!

Ducks on ice!

I woke up a bit hungover this morning, opened the curtains whilst still rubbing my eyes and saw ducks walking on water! So I rubbed my eyes again and realised that the canal had frozen over! It was a perfectly clear morning. This hardly ever happens! At least thats what the old codger across the canal told me as I was busy taking snaps for the family album.

All things considered, I was in a pretty good mood when I got to work this morning. The sun was out, and I had tom petty's 'Wont Back Down' blaring through the iPod.

Then it started snowing. Like proper snow, blizzard even - and now everything is white! The first time I've been at work with snow falling outside, and I just stared out the window all afternoon (still a little bit glazed from double Guinness lunchtime) and watched the snow fall!
