What a blast!

What a blast! (Beverley styles) Had a pretty good night at ‘The Sloop’ which is my local pub across the Beck. Met a dude named Scot who is the local sports reporter for the Hull Daily Mail. Cricket. Brilliant. These poms can’t handle their Stella Artois at all.

Spent the afternoon in York, after talking to Snuffy for the morning. Always entertaining. Walked the walls, saw the York Minster and some random busker with a PIANO playing Les Miserables. Really cool. Otherwise York was just another ye olde English town – city walls, big church, market, nothing extraordinary.

Maybe Ireland should be the next trip? Maybe the Lansdowne Road test…
