well its been intersting so far, matt and i got on the trainfrom Scipol airportwithouta tiket, quite blase about getting caught and sure enough we did - 35 euro fine later (should have been 35 each). Nice one. that night we found a great jazzbar, and were sitting right up the front. thse guys were just going off, you sould have seen the sax player, and the facials of the pianist. it was brilliant. love random nights like that.
yesterday went to he van gogh museum in the morning (i bought some "irises" and found out that van gogh was called the 'garden gnome' by his artist friends when in antwerp because of his red beard and predilection for flowers), and to see wallace and gromit in the afternoon (after going to a smart shop of course) - the girl we bought the tickets off for the movie told us we had to hide our beers better, and when we finish them take them out with us! i thought that was nice. she didn't know about the whisky though...
Tonight is red light night...
rules i've learnt: never let matt suggest not paying for anything. we've been burned twice now. went to a comedy show last night clled 'boomchicago' and it was the (first) and wort i have ever sen. we walked out (without paying for our drinks). it was reallyobvious, bad american humour, improv. style. nothing like clive anderson saying goodnight, goodnight.
