Well slightly better than old york. So much to do there! I'm definitely going back, am even thinking about going in the lottery for a green card...it's free to do, so why the hell not i reckon!
Have posted some more photos up on Flickr. so click on the photo link to the right and away you go. The highlights were Billy Joel live at Madison Square Gardens, the Empire State Building, the food...oh the glorious food!, the steaks, not the lite beers, the calmness about the place even compared to london (or Beverley on market day!), the hawt dawgs, MOMA (museum of modern art) and the Edward Munch exhibition, the free staten island ferry, Brooklyn and brunch and second hand shopping, plus the music...everywhere. Saw some great bands and musicians on the streets and in the subway. Fran's (Ellie's flatmate) dancing was pretty good too..surprisingly so!
